Property
We will provide bathrobes and slippers for your comfort and a variety of refreshments to delight and relax you.
A smock for color treatments will be available to protect your clothing. Please dress appropriately for salon treatments as Avanté will not be responsible for damage to clothing.
For your protection please do not bring valuables with you — if you must, please make use of the lockers that we provide or keep valuables with you at all times. We regret that Avanté cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including valuables, clothing and accessories.
Etiquette
Cell Phones & Pagers
In consideration of our other guests, please refrain from cell phone use and keep phone or pager on silent.
Children And Teens
To maintain a relaxing atmosphere, children under 13 may not be left unattended, unless they are having services done. Anyone under 18, having services that use chemicals, must be accompanied by an adult or have written permission. Anyone under 18 will need signed written permission for massages.
Scheduling
It is our goal to make your visit at Avanté a most pleasurable experience. Please allow enough time to relax and enjoy your stay. When booking a variety of services for the same day, we recommend that hair and makeup services be timed to follow your spa services.
Arrival Times
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time for all spa services.
Shaving before Treatments
If you are receiving a body wrap, mineral bath or salt glow, do not shave or wax your legs at least 8 hours prior to treatment.
For gentlemen, please shave two hours prior to your facial treatments.
Reservations
Try to make appointments at least one week in advance, so that your choice of time and technician can be more easily honored.
Cancellations/Late Arrivals
Cancellations
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if an appointment needs to be rescheduled or cannot be kept. Without proper notification, cancellations and missed appointments may be charged in full.
Late Arrivals
Late arrivals for spa services will not receive an extension and will be responsible for the entire service fee. Depending on the service and the availability of the staff, if a customer is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment — and there is not a reasonable expectation of finishing on time — the appointment will have to be rescheduled.
Guarantee
Service Guarantee
We offer a 100% guarantee on all services within two weeks after they were performed. You may schedule a redo appointment at anytime within the first week, thereafter only with use of recommended at-home care products. Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results. Stylists will determine all guarantees. Because of the nature of at home coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon.Product Home Care
Continued results are achieved through daily use of professional products at home. Your specialist will recommend a home care regimen to maintain your results between visits.Product Returns
We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all of our skin and hair products. If you decide that it is not the right product for you, and provided that most of the original amount of the product is unused, we will gladly take it back and exchange it for another product within 14 days of original purchase. No cash or credit card refunds, exchanges only. Hair pieces, make-up, and boutique items are non-refundable.
Gift Certificates
1. Avanté Gift Certificates are solely redeemable for service and/or retail products at Avanté Salon and Spa of West Chester, PA and Avanté on Main Street of Exton, PA.
2. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase Avanté gift certificates or gift cards.
3.Other discounts and promotions are not valid towards gift certificate purchasing, unless otherwise specified.
4. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
5. Any unused balance will be maintained on the gift card and is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. After 18 months of non-use, a service fee of $2.50 per month will be deducted until the balance is depleted.
6. Purchases that exceed the amount of the gift certificate, must be paid for at redemption.
7. Avanté is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. Lost or stolen certificates are not replaced or refunded.
8. Avanté will provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates as available.
9. Avanté makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to gift cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event a gift card code is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such gift card.
10. Avanté reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its own discretion.
Shipping
Gift cards will be shipped as indicated in check out — pick up at either the Exton or West Chester Avanté salon, or shipped First Class U.S. Mail. We only ship to the United States, US Territories and APO/AFO addresses. Anticipate arrival from First Class U.S. delivery from West Chester to delivery destination, typically 2 to 7 business days.
Should there be questions about delivery or gift information the designated contact will be notified. Do to the sensitive nature of gift giving, until a reply is received Avanté reserves the right to hold the order. Otherwise orders ship out same day, orders received over the weekend will ship on Monday.
